Scheduling on-demand visits is optional and requires setup before use. When it is set up, support and scheduled users can schedule this kind of visit.
You can use on-demand visits to handle on-the-fly appointments that arise after-hours or while you are on call, when you cannot easily access appointment scheduling in your system. You can initiate a virtual visit without having to schedule an appointment in NextGen® Enterprise PM orNextGen® Enterprise EHR. Depending on your system configuration, the visit may also automatically flow back into NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
