If you cannot find a patient while trying to schedule an on-demand visit or if locations are not properly configured, you can proceed by scheduling a non-integrated on-demand visit. The visit is then scheduled in NextGen Virtual Visits™ but does not flow into NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and requires reconciliation.
- Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the Visits
icon from the main menu.
- Select the plus
on the bottom left side of the page.
- On the Search for a patient window, enter the patient's first name, last name, and date of birth, and then select Search.
- When you are redirected to set up a non-integrated on-demand visit, confirm that the patient details you previously entered are correct.
A No Patient Found message appears.
- Select Continue.
- In the How should the patient receive their visit link? area, enter the patient’s email address, mobile phone number, or both, and then select Continue.
Note: If you do not enter patient contact information, the visit link appears after scheduling. Copy and send the link to the patient by using your own method.
- In the Select the visit details area, enter the visit type, visit date, and visit time, and then select Schedule.
A Visit Scheduled message appears
- Select Close.
- Conduct your visit as usual, and then reconcile the visit in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
