NextGen Virtual Visits™ supports the following licensed user types: scheduled users and support users.
Scheduled users have visits scheduled with patients. If your practice uses NextGen® Enterprise PM, a practice user can schedule a virtual visit with this provider, which is then displayed in the Upcoming Visits list in NextGen Virtual Visits™.
Support users have access to multiple provider calendars within NextGen Virtual Visits™. A support user can log on to a specific practice and use the Provider Switcher to select the necessary provider. The support user can then view upcoming patient visit information and join a visit if needed. These users can also schedule on-demand visits for providers and invite guests to visit on behalf of the patient or the provider.
