Update the Floor Inventory
On the MAR Configuration (BH) template, expand the Floor Level Medication Inventory panel. Select Update Inventory. The Floor Medication Inventory (BH) window opens. Note: If you do not have security rights to open the Patient Medication Inventory (BH) window, an alert appears and the window does not open. Select a record from the grid. The details appear in the respective fields. Modify the required details, and then select Update Inventory. The updated details appear in the grid. Add Medications to the Floor Inventory
You can use the Floor Level Medication Inventory (BH) window to add floor-level medications entered for the selected client. You can filter the medication grid by Location, Lot, Active or Inactive medications. On the MAR Configuration (BH) template, expand the Floor Level Medication Inventory panel. Select Update Inventory. The Floor Medication Inventory (BH) window opens. Floor Medication Inventory window Note: If you do not have security rights to open the Patient Medication Inventory (BH) window, an alert appears and does not open the window. In Medication, select a medication from the picklist. Note: Only medications that are added to providers’ favorites list are displayed. If no medications are displayed, you can add medications to any provider’s favorites list. Enter the lot number, expiry date, and location for the selected medication. Configuring Floor Level Medication Inventory
You can use the Floor Level Medication Inventory panel on the MAR Configuration (BH) template to view and manage the floor medication inventory for the entire practice. In the grid, you can monitor current inventory levels. You can select the Active option to view all active medications and the Inactive option to view all inactive medications. Floor Level Medication Inventory panel Updates to the floor level medication inventory are made on the Floor Medication Inventory (BH) window, which is accessed by the Update Inventory button in the Floor Level Medication Inventory panel. Additional security rights are required to add or modify the client's medication inventory. Security rights are set up in System Administrator. If you do not have security rights to access the Floor Medication Inventory (BH) window, you should contact your practice administrator. Open an MAR Scheduled Medications by Location Crystal Report
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select File > Reports > Crystal reports. The Report Dialog window opens. Expand All encounters for All patients, and select Med Management Location. Select Preview. The Enter Parameter Values window opens. Select the location name and enter a date to filter the result. Select OK. The Med Management Location report opens. Open the Inventory Management Template
You can open the Inventory Management template from the Specialty Config Home template. Open the NextGen® Enterprise EHR application. From the File menu, select System / Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Select Template Note: By default, the System tab is selected, and preferred templates are displayed on the Select Template window. If the *Specialty Config Home option is not displayed in the preferred templates list, select All in the Show section.All system templates are displayed. Select *Specialty Config Home from the list, and select OK.The Specialty Config Home template opens. From the Specialty System Sidebar, select Inventory Management. Export the Inventory
Select the Mass Inventory Update button below the inventory grid. The Import/Export MEDics Inventory template opens. Create an import folder location. Note: We recommend saving this under the NextGen Root and creating a folder called MEDicsInventoryReport, in file path: \\[YOUR SERVER]\NextGenRoot\MEDicsInventoryReport. Enter that file path into the Import Folder Location field. Select the Export Report button. The Enter Parameter Values window opens. It has a list of available locations in the grid on the left and selected locations in the grid on the right. Move the locations for which you want to update the inventory, to the Selected Values grid. To move all locations, click the >> button between the grids To move specific locations, select them in the Available Values grid, and select the > button. To remove all locations from the Selected Values grid, select the Remove All button. To move specific locations from the Selected Values grid, select them and select the Remove button. S
