Document Group Medication Administration
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Templates. Select File > System \ Practice Template. Note: You can configure your Packet Navigation (BH) template to include a link to open the Med Management Location (BH) template. For more information on configuring Packet Navigation, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. Select All. The list of all the system templates appears. Select Med Management Location (BH), and then select OK. The Location and Date fields are automatically filled with the location selected at the top of your NextGen® Enterprise EHR window and today's date. If necessary, update the required Location or Date fields. To search for medication schedules, based on the specific dosing time or the patient's last name, enter information in the Time and Last Name fields. Select Filter. Medication schedules matching your search criteria appear in the Medication grid. Select

Open a Floor Inventory Crystal Report
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, select File > Reports > Crystal reports. The Report Dialog window opens. Expand All encounters for All patients, and select MAR Floor Inventory. Select Preview. The Enter Parameter Values window opens. Select the location name. Optional: Enter a lot number. Select OK. The MAR Floor Inventory report opens. Medical Records Preferences
Use the Medical Records preferences to set up the default provider and location. When the preferences are saved, the selected location and provider are retained the next time when you open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. If the location and provider have not been set, when you log on, the Select Location window opens followed by the Select Provider window. These windows also appear if the location and provider are blank when you perform a patient lookup (select the Patient button or Select Patient from the File menu). You can select a different provider for the same location or a different location for the same provider, or change both the location and provider. You can also filter provider selection by the associated location. Document the Medication Prescriber Details for the Patient
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and then in Patient History, select Open Templates. The Select Template window opens. On the Medical Records tab, select All. Select MAR Prescribers (BH), and then select OK. Note: You can open the MAR Prescribers (BH) template from your Packet Navigation, or from the Templates module. For more information on configuring Packet Navigation, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Behavioral Health Suite. Select the program, specialty, and visit type. Note: Only programs that the patient is actively enrolled in appear in the list. You can select <No Program> to create an encounter without a program, and then add the program later. Select the medication from the active list and update the stop dates.
