Enable Payer Location Updates	When selected, the Encounter Location and Encounter Payers are updated when you select a program from the Program picklist on a BH Suite template. The system updates the location and payers to match those setup in the patient's Program Enrollment section on the Demographic (BH) template.
Enable Encounter Admit/Discharge Date and Time Update on Program Selection	When selected, the Admit/Discharge Date and Time information appears on the tis_programs_hx window. When you enroll a client in a program configured for UB billing, the Open Date entered on the tis_programs_hx window appears in the Admit Date and Admit Time fields on the Encounter Maintenance window. When you close a program, the Discharge Date and Discharge Time fields automatically appear on the Encounter Maintenance window.
Payer(s) required on chart Program creation (reorder program enc payer stack)	When selected, the payer details become mandatory during client program enrollment. You cannot save the tis_programs_hx window until at least one payer field is filled.
Enable Sensitivity Settings on Packet Navigation template	When selected, a checkbox appears on the Packet Navigation (BH) template to mark an encounter as sensitive. When you mark an encounter as sensitive, the following settings are automatically applied to the encounter: Suppress Auto Send to Patient Portal If NextGen® PxP Portal is installed and configured, data from the encounter is not sent to the portal automatically. Suppress Outreach Actions If NextGen Care® Outreach is installed and configured, the encounter does not generate outreach actions, and the patient is not contacted automatically about the encounter. Do not print encounter on statements Data about the encounter does not appear on billing statements.
Enable Encounter Remarks details on Program Selection	It is selected by default. When selected, the Program details appear in the Remarks field of the encounter. When not selected, the Program details does not appear in the Remarks field of the encounter.

Configuration Name Configuration Details Enable Late Entry Stamp on all documents When selected, each document is stamped with Late Entry that indicates the document is generated after the encounter date. Select the time interval in days, months, or years that must pass before the late entry stamp is applied. The late entry stamp is based on the encounter date in the patient's chart. Configure UB Billing Options at Program Selection

When you configure a program for UB billing, the following scenarios happen during program enrollment for a patient: The data entered in the Admit Date/Time and Discharge Date/Time are saved on the Encounter Maintenance window and appear on future claim forms. The data entered in the Admission Source and Admission Type fields appear on the Program Hx window. You can also configure the following program-related options to help your clinical process: Set program-specific Packet Navigation. Set default values for Specialty and Visit Type by program. Display the Specialty and Visit Type fields on templates by program. Make payer details as required during the client's program enrollment. Set program-specific Goals and Objectives in the patient's ISP. When a new encounter is created, the Select a Program window displays all programs the client is enrolled in. The program list displays only the current enrollment of clients on the date of the selected encounter. If a program is not available in the picklist, you must add a program for the client or ensure the existing program's open and close dates coincide with the selected encounter date. Create an Encounter from the Patient Chart

If a patient does not have an appointment but has services performed by a provider in the practice, then an encounter is required for the patient. For example, you can create an encounter from the Patient Chart for a patient seen by a provider in a hospital or nursing home. From Patient Chart, select the Encounters tab, and then select the General sub-tab. Do one of the following: In the Encounter Information section, select the open menu and then select New. In the Encounters section, right-click and then select New. The Create Encounter window opens. In the Billable Date field, enter the encounter date. The date is selected from one of the following by default and can be changed as required: The service date selected in session settings. The current system date. In the Billable Time field, enter the encounter time. The time is set to 12:00 AM by default. Enroll a Patient in a Program

You can enroll a patient in a program from Patient Chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The patient must be enrolled in a program before you link their encounters to that program. Note: The Behavioral Health Phase 3 (BH 3.0) templates in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine enable you to enroll patients in programs from a template in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For example, if you use the BH-Program Enrollment template in NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, the Program Enrollment window in NextGen® Enterprise PM automatically displays the same information. From Patient Chart, select the Patient Information tab, and then select the Programs sub-tab. The existing program enrollments for the patient are listed in the Programs section. Note: The Programs sub-tab appears only if you select the Enable Programs check box on the Programs preference in the Practice Preferences window.
