Documenting Child Welfare Training and Group Note

You can document child welfare training group session details, event details, participants, and course details on the CW Training and Group Note (BH) template.

Name of the panelWhat you can do
GroupIn this panel, the group encounter name appears as Group Name. You can enter the duration of the group session, if it is a repeat session, select Make Up Session. Enter the county, region, and location of the group participants.
Training Class/Event InformationIn this panel you can enter the name of the training, class, or event, add the topics covered in the training, the number of registered people or the number of attendees, and the co-facilitator names.
Group ParticipantsThis panel displays the list of people associated with the group. You can select Open Chart to view the participant details in a new chart. If required, you can update the participant details.
Individual ParticipantsIn this panel, you can update the details of individual participants in training sessions.

if a foster or adoptive parent has attended the class, select the Individual Presents option, and select the behavior of the individual.

If a foster or adoptive parent has not attended the class, select the Individual Not Presents option, and select the appropriate options.

Courses/Meetings/Events/TrainingsIn this panel, you can document the details of the courses, meetings, events, or training for the current participant.

You can select course and status, when you generate document, only the active courses are displayed.

You can enter the start date, completion date, and graduation date of the course and select Add to add the details to the grid.
Final SummaryYou can document the final summary for the current participant in the training sessions. In this panel, you can enter comments on the attitude and receptiveness of the family or participant during the training sessions, add any concern about any area that needs further inquiry or discussion, and provide final recommendations and graduation date.
