Update Encounter Coded Data

From the client’s chart, complete the field your agency previously configured to fulfill the guideline. Open the Update Encounter Coded Data template. Select Run. Note: The CQM results appear. Currently, a stored procedure runs at night to update any coded results mapping. Therefore, you do not see the update to Care Guidelines until the next day. The job is set to automatically run every night. Therefore, you can run a job at the encounter level from the Update Encounter Coded Data template to update the Coded Results mapping table immediately with the new values entered for the current patient encounter. Care Guideline Configuration for BH Protocols

You can configure protocols, such as Comprehensive assessment and Individual Service Plan, to update the next due date. You must configure Protocols before you can activate a Protocol for a client. Care Guidelines are configured on the Care Guidelines Setup practice template. You can select the Care Guidelines link on the template header to open the Care Guidelines window. Complete Care Guideline by Custom Service Code Mapping

In File Maintenance, open the Service Items Library. Create a code in the Service Item Library. In the Orderable Test Setup (Protocols) panel on the Care Guidelines Setup template, add the custom service code to the protocol. Orderable Test Setup (Protocols) panel Select Add. The Start and End buttons are available here and on the Program Name panel in the Progress Note tab. The values documented in either place are immediately reflected in the same fields on the other section. Entered times can be modified by clicking in the field. If desired, you can document the time values at a later date. It is important to follow the established format: 00:00 AM or PM. To finalize billing, navigate to the Behavioral health billing section.
