Other Interactions

Any interaction that doesn't require a payload/body is usually going to use either a GET or DELETE request. Some of these requests have the resource ID or version ID baked directly into the URL. If that is the case, a Path Params table will become visible where you can enter values for those variables. A Query Parameters table will also show up. Selecting an Interaction / Operation

If you haven't retrieved a remote capability statement, then by default the FHIR Sender will be populated with all known resources, interactions, operations, and parameters. Once you retrieve and cache a capability statement, only the interactions etc. supported by the server will be shown in the drop-down menus. The first thing to decide is whether you want your FHIR Sender destination to invoke a Resource-specific interaction, or a System-wide interaction. Select either Resource or System next to Interaction Type: The Interaction / Operation drop-down menu will change depending on which interaction type you choose. Advanced Search Filter

Select on the Advanced.. button in the event browser search pane to open the Advanced Search Filter. Item Name Description C User The user associated with the event. The System user is reserved for events where no user is associated, such as startup / shutdown or the Data Pruner. D Outcome For user requests and server tasks, Outcome indicates whether the action was successful or not. E Attribute To search for a specific attribute, such as patient_id. Entering Search Criteria for Patient Lookup

You can search for a person or patient on the People Lookup and Patient Lookup windows. You can use multiple parameters for the search criteria. For example, you can enter a part of the last name, first name, and birth date. When you search by name (Last, First, Preferred, Middle, Previous Last, Mother's Maiden Name), you can use an asterisk as a wild card character as follows: *abc: searches for names that start with any letter or letters, followed by abc. Ab*c: searches for names that start with Ab, followed by any letter or letters, followed by c. Abc* searches for names that start with Abc, followed by any letter or letters. Note: Fields with the Lightning bolt indicator for direct match searches indicator are for direct match searches and cannot be used with other search criteria. Search Patient Documents

You can search with a single term or multiple terms within all or specific documents generated on a patient chart in the Search Documents window. You can search for documents in all patient encounters, a specific encounter date, or an encounter date range. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select the Encounter History or Categories tab. Select .The Search Documents window opens. Enter single or multiple keywords and phrases related to your desired document in the search box. Tip: For example, you can search by headache, cluster headache, strep, or streptococcus.
