Advanced Search Filter

Item	Name	Description
C	User	The user associated with the event. The System user is reserved for events where no user is associated, such as startup / shutdown or the Data Pruner.
D	Outcome	For user requests and server tasks, Outcome indicates whether the action was successful or not.
E	Attribute	To search for a specific attribute, such as patient_id.
F	IP Address	For user requests, the IP address of the originating client.
G	Server ID	The unique ID of the server from which the event was logged.

The Event Browser search capabilities are very similar to the Message Browser. For information on many of these shared components, see Search Messages. Select the Advanced... button in the message browser search pane to view the Advanced Search Filter. (See Option E in Message Search Options) Item Name Description A Connectors Table Use this table to include only certain connectors in the search criteria. The Id column refers to the metadata ID of the connector, where the Source connector is always 0, and destination connectors have metadata IDs greater than zero. The Current Connector Name column shows the current name of each connector. Even if a destination is renamed, the metadata ID remains static, and is used for the search. The Deleted Connectors row refers to historical connector messages associated with destinations that were deleted. Search for a Patient Group

Open patient group. The Patient Group Search window opens. Enter search criteria to find the desired patient groups. Multiple parameters can be used. For example, you can enter all or part of the Group Name, select a Location and select a Day of the Week. Select Find. Patient groups that match all search criteria entered are listed in the Matching Records section at the bottom of the window. For multi-select search criteria, patient groups that match any of the criteria are listed. For example, if your search criteria included Locations X, Y and Z, and Clinicians/Facilitators A, B and C, and Days of the Week Tue, Wed and Thu, the search results lists any patient group at location X, Y or Z for clinicians A, B or C that meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. If no search criteria were entered, all patient groups are listed except those that are expired, hidden or inactive. Patient Group Search Criteria

You can use the following Search Criteria on the Patient Group Search window to find specific patient groups. Field Description Group Name To find patient groups by Group Name, enter all or part of the name. An asterisk can be used as a wild card character. For example: *abc: Finds names that start with any letter(s) followed by abc Ab*c: Finds names that start with Ab followed by any letter(s) followed by c Abc*: Finds names that start with Abc followed by any letter(s) Location To find patient groups by Location, select one or more locations from the list. When multiple locations are selected, patient groups matching any one of those locations are included in the search results. Note: The list includes locations that have the Display in Scheduling check box selected in the Locations master file in File Maintenance. Search for Images using Advanced Search

You can use advanced search options to find images based on the image scanned date, encounter date, and the person who scanned the images. For more accurate results, you can combine multiple search criteria. Note: Advanced search applies only to patient image searches. You cannot perform advanced search for non-person images. Open NextGen® Document Management, and then on the toolbar, select Search. The Image Lookup window opens. Optional: Enter any patient or image search criteria. Note: If you select one or more document types, then the Advanced Search Criteria window displays the fields associated with the selected document types. In the Image Search Criteria section, select Advanced. In the Advanced Search Criteria window, enter the search criteria, and then select OK. In Image Lookup, select Find.
