The dashboard displays information about your appliance and its current state. In the Mirth Appliance Dashboard, you can view information that is useful for monitoring how the system is operating. Some of the information is also necessary when contacting NextGen Healthcare Support. To open the Mirth Appliance Dashboard, select System > Dashboard.The Mirth Appliance Dashboard displays information about your appliance and its current state in the following four sections: System Status displays version information for the Control Panel, for components, and for applications installed on the Mirth® Appliance by NextGen Healthcare. Configuring Mail

The Mail Configuration window allows you to enter email notification addresses. From the menu, select System > Mail to access the mail configuration settings. The Mail Configuration window enables you to set one or more email notification addresses in the Notification Email Address field. To set more than one address, separate each recipient by a comma. Enter an email address in the Default From Address field to identify messages sent from the appliance. The default from address is alert@mirthappliance.com. When the SMTP Relay Host field is blank (the default value), the Mirth® Appliance by NextGen Healthcare attempts direct mail delivery. This setting is the most reliable, but requires outbound network access on TCP port 25. If your network restricts outbound SMTP traffic you need to talk to your network administrator either to open access for the appliance or to provide you with an authorized SMTP relay host. Mirth® Appliance by NextGen Healthcare Certificates

The appliance SSL Certificate window enables you to work with the local certificate authority or to prepare a certificate to be signed by a third-party authority. Your Mirth® Appliance by NextGen Healthcare ships with a local certificate authority and a default certificate installed. Although this certificate functions out of the box, the remote side of the SSL connection may receive a message that the certificate does not match the site name or that the certificate authority is untrusted. If this issue occurs, you can select System > Certificates to modify the advanced certificate settings. The Appliance SSL Certificate window lets you work with the local certificate authority or prepare a certificate to be signed by a third-party authority. Applications Control

The Applications Control window displays a list including the Control Panel and all installed applications. Select Applications > Applications Control to view a list including the Control Panel and all installed applications. The name of each application is a link that opens the application. The list also provides the version of the application, an Action button to start or stop the application, a button to Manage the application, and the URL to access the application directly.
