The Applications Control window displays a list including the Control Panel and all installed applications.
Select to view a list including the Control Panel and all installed applications. The name of each application is a link that opens the application. The list also provides the version of the application, an Action button to start or stop the application, a button to Manage the application, and the URL to access the application directly.
Note: The functions available on the
Applications Control window are also available by going to the menu entry in the
Applications menu for each application, and selecting
Launch or
Manage in the sub-menu that appears. In some cases, the
Manage entry itself has another sub-menu.
The windows that you navigate to, in order to perform any of these functions are the same whether you go to them through the Applications Control window or through the entries for the applications on the Applications menu. These are alternate paths to navigate to the same places.
