Defining Default Folders

The default folders on the appliance have different purposes. Some folders are used by Mirth® Connect while others are used by services on the appliance.

You can use the default folders for your own channels, or you can create folders. The current path appears in the gray rectangle above the Selection links in the /folders window. Use this path when referencing the directory in a Mirth® Connect channel.

When multiple channels use the same folder, you should specify a Filename Filter Pattern that ensures that only one channel attempts to process a given file.
