Connect to SupportNet

SupportNet is a support feature that enables you to connect to NextGen Healthcare Support by using a VPN connection.

SupportNet allows support staff and system administrators to connect directly to your appliance, enabling them to debug appliance issues or issues with applications running on the appliance, such as Mirth® Connect.

To connect to SupportNet, your appliance must be able to make an outbound TCP connection on port 443 or an outbound UDP connection on port 1194. NextGen Healthcare recommends that you use TCP 443 as this is typically left open on corporate firewalls.

  1. Select Help > SupportNet to connect your Mirth® Appliance by NextGen Healthcare to NextGen Healthcare Support using a VPN.
  2. In Connect Using, select either the TCP or UDP option.
