Configuring Automatic Updates

The Automatic Updates service enables you to set handling parameters for new appliance updates. Select Services > Auto Update to set handling parameters for new appliance updates on the Automatic Update window. This service enables a certain level of update automation. You can choose to download and install updates automatically. You can also set a start time and duration for when and how long you want to download and install any updates. Setting a schedule helps to ensure update activity occurs outside high traffic periods. Automatic Updates window If the Automatic Updates service is not running before you configure the service, then the window displays a notice after you update the settings. Select the Services window link in the notice to be redirected to the Services Control window where you can select Start next to the service name. Parent topic: Services Menu

Create Backup Sets

Backup sets are collections of components with a given destination for the backup data. You can manually run a backup, create a backup for each backup set, and check the logs for a backup set. Backup sets are collections of components with a given destination for the backup data. With a backup set, you determine which data components will be backed up and where the information is saved. Select System > Backups. Select Add Backup Set. Enter a name for the backup set. Select the components to include in the backup. Set the Appliance Date and Time

The appliance date and time are set through network time protocol (NTP). A default setting for public NTP hosts is provided, but you may want to use NTP servers on your local network. Ask your network administrator if there is a preference. Note: When you make changes to the time zone, you need to stop and start the Mirth® Connect server for the changes to fully take effect. When you configure your appliance for the first time, you should specify the local time zone in the Date & Time window. Select System > Date & Time. In Time Zone, select your time zone. Copy a Service Package Configuration

You can copy a Service Package Configuration to create another configuration with the same setup, and then modify the new configuration as needed. When you copy a service package configuration, the following information is copied to the new configuration: The Level of Need value. The Adult/Child indicator. All Service Unit Detail rows with their service limits and CPT4/modifier combinations. To copy a service package configuration, do the following: Open File Maintenance. Select Libraries, and then Service Package. The Service Package List window opens. From the list, double-click to open a library. The Service Package Maintenance window opens.
