Set the Appliance Date and Time
The appliance date and time are set through network time protocol (NTP). A default setting for public NTP hosts is provided, but you may want to use NTP servers on your local network. Ask your network administrator if there is a preference.
When you configure your appliance for the first time, you should specify the local time zone in the Date & Time window.

- In Time Zone, select your time zone.
- In NTP Hosts, use the provided public NTP server or enter your own.
- Select Update to save the new settings.
