Search for Appointments Using Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead

  1. In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Tasks > Appt Search > Enterprise.
    The Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window opens.

  2. Select or right-click the Patient open menu, and select Lookup.
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. On the Patient Lookup window, find the patient for scheduling an appointment.
    The patient details appear on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window.
  4. Select an enterprise event from Enterprise Event.
  5. In Search By, select Resources or Enterprise classes.
    • If you select Resources, the Resources list appears with the resources defined in Enterprise Scheduling Administration as the options.
    • If you select Enterprise Classes, the Enterprise Classes list appears with the enterprise classes defined in Enterprise Scheduling Administration as the options.
  6. Select the service location.
  7. Enter the other fields in the search criteria as needed.
  8. Select Find.
    All available timeslots that match the entered search criteria appear in the Available Timeslots section.
  9. To schedule an appointment on the Add Appointment window, in the Available Timeslots section, do one of the following:
    • Double-click to open the desired time slot.
    • Right-click the desired time slot, and select Book Appointment.
