Schedule Appointments from Available Timeslots

You can schedule an appointment for a patient from the available time slots on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window.

  1. On the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window, in the Available Timeslots section, right-click or double-click the desired time slot.
    If you have multiple resources and service locations from various practices for the selected event, you can select on the filter on the Practice column in the Available Timeslots section. The available time slots for the resources and service location of the selected practice lists.
    The Book Appointment menu appears.
  2. Select Book Appointment.
    The event, resources, service location, date, and time fields are filled.
    The Add Appointment window opens.
  3. Select the open menu icon, and select Lookup.

    If the patient is selected on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window, the patient information is added on the Add Appointment window.

    The People Lookup window opens.
  4. Find a patient, and select Open.
    The patient information is added on the Add Appointment window.
  5. Select OK.
    The Appointment Confirmation window opens.
  6. Select Close.
    The appointment is scheduled for the selected time slot.
