On the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window, when you search for available time slots by selecting a patient, the time slot from practices displays only the patients listed on your inclusion list or all patients except those listed on your Exclusion list in those practices.
The Inclusion or Exclusion list is initially set up in System Administrator and applied when you search for a patient in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, NextGen® Enterprise PM, or NextGen® Optical Management.

On the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window, when you search for available time slots for patients excluded from the practice, the time slot does not appear.
On the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window, if you search for the available time slot without selecting a patient, the available time slot for the selected search criteria is displayed. After the search is complete, if you select a patient that is excluded from a practice, the available time slot section refreshes to remove the time slots for the patient.
When you search for available time slots on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window in four different practices, if the selected patient is not added to the inclusion list in three practices other than the logged-on practice, available time slots are displayed for the selected patient.
