Searching for Appointments with Enterprise Resources
The Resources field on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window is activated when you select an enterprise event. Only the resources that are templated and having the same event duration as that of the member events appear in the Resources list; else, the list is empty. The template and duration are set on the Practice Scheduling Administration window.
When you enter the first letters of the resource name, the Resources list suggests the resources that start with the same letters. If there are no resources with those letters, you get a warning message.
When you select multiple resources, all the selected resources appear in the read-only text box below the list. When you point to the text box, all selected resources appear as a tooltip.
When you select a resource, it shows the resource duration as set in Practice Scheduling Administration and is compatible with any of the member events.

For example: When you select the Ortho Surgery event, the resources that are compatible and templated for the selected event in Practice Scheduling Administration appear in the Resources list. You can select a resource from the list and find the available time slot for the event and the selected resource.

You can select multiple resources like a doctor, a nurse, and a surgery room within the same practice and find the available time slots for all the selected resources. The search finds the available time slots where all the resources are available.

For example: When you select the Ortho Surgery event, the resources that are compatible and templated for the selected event in Practice Scheduling Administration, appear in the Resources list. You can select multiple resources from various practices and find the available time slots for all the selected resources. The search finds the available time slots for all resources in the respective practice. When you want to book an appointment for a resource in a practice other than the logged on practice, the practice automatically switches to the practice in which the appointment is available.
