Searching for Appointments with Service Locations
The Service Locations field on the Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead window is activated when you select an enterprise event. The service locations that are set on the Enterprise Scheduling Administration window are displayed in the Enterprise Classes field.
You can select multiple service locations even if the Allow multiple location selections practice preference is not enabled. When you select multiple service locations and search for appointments, the search finds the available time slots for any of the selected locations. You can sort the service location names in ascending order.
When you enter the first letters of the service location name, the Service Locations list suggests the service locations that start with those letters. If there are no service locations with those letters, you get a warning message.
When you select multiple service locations, all the selected service locations appear in the read-only text box below the list. When you point to the text box, all the selected service locations appear as a tooltip.
If you select a patient with a zip code, or enter the zip code manually, the Service Locations list displays the distance in miles.
If you select search within xx miles, Service Locations displays the nearest service location.
If you remove the zip code and clear search within xx miles, Service Locations displays the service locations in alphabetic order.
Service locations that are added or removed from the weekly or daily template for a resource and updated on the Practice Scheduling Administration window, appear on Enterprise Appointment Search Ahead.
