Track Patient Appointment Modifications Using Significant Events

You can track modifications to patient appointments by turning on significant events, which log messages in the Appointment Insurance Selection window. The messages detail actions such as adding or deleting insurance, indicating self-pay, and replacing insurance, along with associated payer and appointment or encounter numbers.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the Admin menu, select Preferences > Significant Events.
    The Significant Event Information window opens.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the significant events you want.
  4. Select OK.
