Set Up Security Rights for Significant Events

In System Administrator, select the practice and user group. On the Rights tab, expand Operations > Preferences, and then select Significant Events. Under Access Rights, select Yes or No to assign or remove the security rights for the user group. Add or Remove Messages in the Significant Events Report

In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports > General > Significant Events. From Configuration Options, select Sig Events Msgs. Select the open file icon. To search for a message to include in the report, enter the search criteria in the Available field. To see results that contain your search phrase, select Search for keyphrase anywhere in this field. To add a message, select the message from the Available list, and then select the add icon. To remove a message, select the message from the Included list, and then select the move icon. Select OK. Significant Events Preferences

The application tracks selected significant events for logging and auditing purposes. Selections made for significant events at the Enterprise level take effect across all practices. Selections for events at the Practice level must be made for each practice. All significant events are enabled by default. Significant events can be viewed in NextGen® Enterprise PM in the Significant Events report and at the account, chart, and encounter levels. Activate Significant Events You can select and track the significant events through the Enterprise, System, or individual practices. Significant Events Security Rights You can control access to the Significant Events Preferences by modifying the users group security rights. Significant Events Reference List You can set up the significant events in NextGen® Enterprise PM and System Administrator. Significant Events

In System Administrator, you can select NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR system, enterprise, or practice-level significant events for logging and auditing purposes. You can access this same significant events list in NextGen® Enterprise PM, but you can only report on the events in NextGen® Enterprise PM and NextGen® Enterprise EHR. All significant events are enabled by default the first time you access them.
