Stop Recall Plans from Reports

Recall Plans for patients can be stopped in batch mode from the Patient Recall Report in NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Reports menu, select General, and then Patient Recall. The NextGen Report Filter window opens. Filter the report to include the desired patient population and then select OK. The Report Preview window opens. On the report toolbar, select the Stop Recall Plan button. The Stop Recall Plans window appears as follows when the Prompt for a reason when a Recall Plan is stopped check box is not enabled in Practice Preferences > Chart. The Stop Recall Plans window appears as follows when the Prompt for a reason when a Recall Plan is stopped check box is enabled in Practice Preferences > Chart: In the Select Plan To Stop field, select one or more recall plans to be stopped. Note: Only those recall plans included on the report are available for selection in this field. In the Select Stop Recall Plan Reason field, select a reason for stopping the recall plan(s). Patient Chart > Encounters Tab

Access the Patient Chart. Select the Encounters tab. In the Encounters list on the left, select any encounter. Right-click and select Recall. The Patient Recall window opens. Select the recall to be stopped. Do one of the following: Select the Open Menu button and select Stop from the menu. Right-click and select Stop from the menu. Select the Stop button. The following prompt displays: Do you want to stop the participation in this plan? To stop the patient’s recall plan, select Yes. Select a Reason for Stopping Recall and then select OK. Note: The Reason for Stopping Recall window displays only if the Prompt for a reason when a Recall Plan is stopped option is enabled in Practice Preferences > Chart. Appointment Book

From the Appointment Book, select the patient’s appointment. Right-click and select Recall. The Patient Recall window opens. Select the recall to be stopped. Add/Edit Appointment Window

From the Appointment Book, open the patient’s appointment. The Edit Appointment window opens. Select the Recall/Waitlist tab. In the Recalls section of the tab, select the recall to be stopped. Right-click and select Stop. Parent topic: Stop a Recall Manually

Modify a Recall Plan

A patient’s existing Recall Plan can be modified from the following areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM: Appointment Book Add/Edit Appointment window > Recall/Waitlist tab Appointment List/Lookup Chart > Patient Information Bar > Recall Plans button Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab Chart > Encounters tab Checkin / Checkout AutoFlow Sequence > Patient Recall Note: If a patient’s recall plan has been stopped, ether automatically by the system or manually by a user, it cannot be modified.
