Set up Document Management Enterprise Preferences

In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Enterprises. The Enterprises List window opens. Double-click the appropriate enterprise. Select Preferences and then select Document Management tab. Enter information in the desired fields. Set Up NextGen® Document Management Enterprise Preferences

Before you begin Ensure that you have a license for NextGen® Document Management to view the Document Management tab in the Enterprise Preferences window. To set enterprise preferences, you must do the following: Set a network share location to store all documents and images used by NextGen® Document Management. Allow network impersonation so you can set restrictions on access to the network location where the actual documents and image files are stored. To open the Enterprise Preferences window, do one of the following: From NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > > Preferences > Enterprise. From File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Enterprises, and from the list, choose an enterprise and then select Preferences. From Preference List, select Document Management. The Document Management tab on the Enterprise Preferences window displays only if you have a license for NextGen® Document Management. This tab enables you to set some NextGen® Document Management options at the enterprise level. To set the enterprise preferences, you must: Set a network share location to store all documents and images used by NextGen® Document Management.
