field, do one of the following:
To display the username, user ID, date, and time of the transaction on the receipt, select
Show UserNameUserID/Timestamp (default)

To display the user ID, receipt date, and time of the transaction on the receipt, select
Show UserID/Timestamp
.
Note:
When printing receipts you can identify the user who issued the receipt by user ID or username.
Close the
Practice Preferences
window.

Set Up Printer Options in Practice Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Printing. The User Preferences window opens. Select Account Receipt, then right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Set Up Printer Options in User Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. In the Printing tab, select Account Receipt, and then right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Enter the applicable details. To further define how you want to print your receipts, select Properties. Select OK. Set Up User and Timestamp Options in Practice Preferences
When printing receipts you can identify the user who issued the receipt by user ID or username. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Itemized Bills. The Practice Preferences Itemized Bills window opens. In the User/Timestamp Options field, select one of the following options: Show UserNameUserID/Timestamp (default) - displays the username, user ID and date and time of the transaction on the receipt. Show UserID/Timestamp - only displays the user ID, receipt date, and time of the transaction on the receipt. When selecting this option, the username does not display on the receipt. Print and View Options for Credit Card Receipts
To set up print and view options for credit card receipts, use the following procedures: Set printer options in User Preferences. Set printer option in Practice Preferences. Set user and timestamp options for receipts in Practice Preferences. Print a credit card receipt from the Payment Entry window. View account level e-signed forms and receipts. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Printing. The User Preferences window opens. Select Account Receipt, right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Complete the applicable fields. Print an Itemized Bill from the Patient Chart
An Encounter Bill can be printed for a patient from their chart. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Chart. The Patient Lookup window opens. Select the desired patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart opens for the desired patient. Select the Encounters tab. Select the encounter. Do one of the following: Right-click the encounter, select Print, and then select Encounter Bill. From the Tasks menu, select Demand, and then select Demand Itemized Bill. The Itemized Bill for Encounter window opens. Review the default Itemized Bill Options and make modifications, if needed. Note: The default settings are from Practice Preferences > Itemized Bills. Select Preview to preview the encounter bill on the window prior to printing. Select Print to print the encounter bill. The encounter bill is automatically sent to the printer defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defin
