Show UserID/Timestamp
.
Note:
When printing receipts you can identify the user who issued the receipt by user ID or username.
Close the
Practice Preferences
window.

Set Up Printer Options in User Preferences
Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > User > General. The User Preferences window opens. In the Printing tab, select Account Receipt, and then right-click and select Open. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Printing. The User Preferences window opens. Select Account Receipt, then right-click and select Open. The Print window opens. Print a Credit Card Receipt
The Print menu includes the CC Processing Receipt option. You can print a receipt for either posted or unposted credit card payments. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Posting . The Batch Posting window opens. Double-click the batch header record. The Payment Entry window opens. In the Payer field, select Patient. In the Pay Code field, select the electronic payment's transaction code. In the Pay field, enter the dollar amount of the payment. Note: The CC Pay button becomes active after the Payer, Pay Code, and Pay fields are filled. Ask the Patient to e-sign. Select the Print icon. The receipt prints and an archived copy of the receipt is stored at the account level for source account, budget, or invoice transactions. Review the fields that are printed on the receipt. When printing receipts you can identify the user who issued the receipt by user ID or username. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice > Itemized Bills. The Practice Preferences Itemized Bills window opens. In the User/Timestamp Options field, select one of the following options: Show UserNameUserID/Timestamp (default) - displays the username, user ID and date and time of the transaction on the receipt. Show UserID/Timestamp - only displays the user ID, receipt date, and time of the transaction on the receipt. When selecting this option, the username does not display on the receipt. Printing and Storing Credit Card Receipts
You can demand print a receipt for an electronic payment with an electronic signature or without an electronic signature and then store a copy of the receipt within NextGen® Enterprise PM. To store a copy of the receipt, you must enable credit card processing in Practice Preferences. In Practice Preferences Payment Processing, you can select the Enable Credit Card Processing check box. After you enable credit card processing, the folders for credit card receipts are displayed in the following areas of NextGen® Enterprise PM: Clinical History/Notes tab of Patient Chart window for source encounters Transactions Notes tab of the Account Profile window for source account, budget, or invoice transactions DevicesTo use the electronic signature feature, your organization must use one of the following devices: Intelink EPadInk Ambir SP200 Ambir 110 Receipts have the following characteristics: A signature line for electronic signature System date at time of printing Last four digits of the cred
