Send an Encounter Collection Letter
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select Chart.
The Patient Lookup window opens.
- Enter search criteria to locate the desired patient.
- Select Find.
All existing persons and patients that match the search criteria entered display in the Matching Records section of the window.
- In the Matching Records list, double-click to open the patient.
The Patient Chart window opens.
- Select the Encounters tab.
- From the Encounters list on the left, open the desired encounter.
The Encounter Maintenance window opens.
- Select the Billing & Collections tab.
- Select the letter in the Collection Letter field.
The Send Collection Letter check box is automatically selected. The letter is included in the next batch of Encounter Collection Letters.Note: The letters available for selection are created as Demand Encounter letters in File Maintenance.
- To save changes and close the window, select OK.
