Select an Active Batch

The Active Batch Active Batch Icon is used to indicate the session's active batch during the posting process. You can only post transactions to an active batch. A Active Batch Icon appears when a single batch or a sub-batch of a batch group is set as active for the session.

You can set an active batch from the Session Settings window or the Batch Posting window. Only one batch can be set as the active batch for a session. If your practice uses autoflow to check patients in and out, it is important to mark an active batch

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Posting .
    The Batch Posting window opens.
  3. Right-click the batch, and then select Set as Active Batch.
    A appears next to the batch. The selected batch is set as the active batch.
