You can create enhanced forms in File Maintenance. These include forms for electronic signatures, patient correspondence for documentation purposes, and customized options such as alternate fee tickets and patient data sheets. Wherever forms can be printed in NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can choose to print Enhanced Forms.
Note: You can print Fee Tickets or Patient Data Sheets that are setup as Enhanced Forms in File Maintenance. Printing enhanced forms replaces the legacy or menu options that are used to print the standard version of these forms.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select or select the desired patient from Encounter Lookup window, and then right-click, and select .

The Print Forms window appears.
- Select the Forms Enhanced tab.
The Forms Enhanced Selector field defaults to (All Forms). This allows you to select and print forms from any group.
- Select a specific Form Group to select and print forms from that group only.
- In the Forms section, select the forms to be printed. All forms are selected by default.
- Optional: Select the Sort button to modify the sort for a specific form, if needed. The sort is used only when the form is printed for multiple patients.
Note: The Sort button is available only if the form is setup with a default sort order for printing in File Maintenance.
- In the Copies section, select the number of copies to be printed.
- In the Printer Settings section, select the printer for the forms.
The default printer displayed is based on User Preferences or Practice Preferences.
- In the User-Defined Message Data section, enter a free-text comment in the User-Defined Text field to print on the forms.
Note: User-Defined Message Data field is available only if the System User-Defined Message data field is included on the form in File Maintenance.
- To print the forms, select Print.
When you create an enhanced form in File Maintenance, and if you do not have enough data while printing it from NextGen® Enterprise PM, the system compresses the extra spaces.
