Print Batch Labels from Encounter Lookup

Labels can be printed and used to address envelopes for mailed patient correspondence, label patient charts, or identify lab specimens. You can print labels for one or more patients from the Encounter Lookup window in NextGen® Enterprise PM.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. From the main toolbar, select the EncounterNull button or select Tasks > Lookup > Encounters
    The Encounter Lookup window appears.
  3. Enter the details in Search Criteriasection as needed to locate the desired patient encounters.
  4. Select Find.
    All encounters that match the search criteria entered appears in the Encounter List section.
  5. From the main toolbar, select the EncounterNull button or select Tasks > Lookup > Encounters
    The Encounter Lookup window appears.
  6. Enter the details in Search Criteriasection as needed to locate the desired patient encounters.
  7. From the Encounter List, select the desired encounters to print the label.
  8. Right-click and select Print > Labels.
    The Print Labels window appears.

  9. In the Template field, select the label template to be printed.
  10. In the Printer Settings section, select the printer for the labels.
  11. In the Print Range section, select the necessary option to either print full page or partial page.
  12. In the Copies section, select the number of copies to be printed. The default is 1.
  13. To print the labels, select Print.
    You can preview the labels on the window prior to printing by selecting Preview.
  14. In the Template field, select the label template to be printed.
  15. In the Printer Settings section, select the printer for the labels.
  16. In the Print Range section, select the necessary option to either print full page or partial page.
  17. In the Copies section, select the number of copies to be printed. The default is 1.
  18. To print the labels, select Print.
    You can preview the labels on the window prior to printing by selecting Preview.
