Import a Bad Address File

Before you begin

Make sure that you have downloaded the bad address file from the NextGen® EDI website in XML format.

You can import a bad address file from your computer to NextGen® Enterprise PM.

  1. Open the NextGen® Enterprise PM application.
  2. Select File > Processes > Bad Address Import.
    The USPS Bad Address Import window opens.

  3. Click Open Record next to the Address Input File field
  4. Browse to locate and select the bad address file downloaded from the NextGen® EDI website on your computer.
  5. To importing the file, click OK.
    The file is imported and the bad address report appears.
  6. To save a copy of the report for future reference, do one of the following from the report toolbar:
    • To print the report, click Print Report.
    • To export the report to the Excel spreadsheet and save it to a network directory, click Export to Excel.
    • To save a snapshot of the report, click Save as Snapshot.
