Exclude Encounter Charges from Outsourcing

Before you begin

You must turn on the Outsourcing option in File maintenance Practice Preferences.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Chart, and then in Patient Lookup, enter your search criteria, and then select Find.
    Matching people and patient records appear in the search results.
  3. In Matching Records, select a patient record , and then select Open.
    The Patient Information tab opens in the Patient Chart window.
  4. Select the Chart Details tab, and then select the open folder icon.
  5. In the Chart Details window, select the Exempt from Outsourcing checkbox, and then select OK.
    The encounter charges are excluded from outsourcing.
