Final Encounter in a Series

The procedures for creating the final encounter in a series for a patient who is set up for recurring billing are the same as for a subsequent encounter, except a discharge date is entered to signal the end of the series. View the Initial Encounter After Billing

During the billing process, an Initial Encounter ID is assigned to the encounter to identify it as the first encounter in a series.
