Viewing Encounters by Date or Number

The General tab under Encounters in the patient's chart lists all encounters for the patient in the Encounters section. Depending on the Encounter List Default Display settings in Chart tab under General User Preferences tab, you can view the encounters using any of the following options:

Encounter Date

Lists the encounters by date. You can select the Encounter Date check box to display encounters by number.

Encounter Number

Lists the encounters by number. You can select the Encounter Number check box to display encounters by number.

Both

Lists the encounter by number and date. Select both the Encounter Number and Encounter Date check boxes lists the encounter by number and date.
