Uploading Files to NextGen EDI

When using NextGen® EDI services to print and mail statements or letters from export files created in NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can do one of the following to send the export files to NextGen EDI:

  • Login to NextGen EDI's website and manually upload a file.
  • Automatically upload a file in real-time from NextGen® Enterprise PM.

NextGen EDI then provides a Confirmation Report on their website for you to download and use to confirm that a statement or letter file was received and processed.

If you upload your files to NextGen EDI in real-time, a message displays in NextGen® Enterprise PM when an upload is successful and the file is received by NextGen EDI. In addition, an EDI Upload indicator is recorded on each archived statement or letter in the guarantor's Account Profile and the Patient Chart. The indicator is also available on specific reports.

Export files can be automatically uploaded to NextGen EDI for the following:

  • Appointment Reminder Letters (batch)
  • Recall Letters (batch)
  • Account Collection Letters (individual and batch)
  • Encounter Collection Letters (individual and batch)
  • Budget Letters (batch)
  • Statements (individual and batch)
  • Auto Pay Collection (APC) Statements (batch)
