Threshold Tracking Report Columns

The following columns and filters are available on the Threshold Tracking report:

Displays the name of the primary payer on the encounter that is associated with the program threshold rule.

Prog Thresh MinProgram Threshold MinimumPractice > Threshold Rules sub-tab in the Programs master file

Displays the Minimum value defined for the threshold payer and SIM code.

Prog Thresh MaxProgram Threshold MaximumPractice > Threshold Rules sub-tab in the Programs master file

Displays the Maximum value defined for the threshold payer and the SIM code.

Displays the Service Unit (Hours, Units or Encounters) defined for the threshold payer and the SIM code.

Enc Thresh StatusEncounter Threshold StatusDisplays the status of the encounter relative to the Minimum and Maximum values defined for the threshold payer and the SIM code.
Displays one of the following:
  • Less Than
  • Meet
  • Exceed
Enc Thresh TotalEncounter Threshold TotalCharge posting displays the total number of Service Units calculated for the threshold SIM codes on the encounter.

The Encounter Threshold Total contributes to the Threshold Total.

Example:
  • Threshold Min = 1 hour per week
  • SIM H0001 = 60 minutes per unit
  • Encounter Charge H0001 = 30 minutes
  • Encounter Threshold Total = 0.5
Thresh TotalThreshold TotalDisplays the total number of Service Units for the threshold SIM codes on all encounters within the Service Duration.
Example:
  • Threshold Min = 1 hour per week
  • SIM H0001 = 60 minutes per unit
  • Encounter 1 Charge H0001 = 30 minutes
  • Encounter 2 Charge H0001 = 30 minutes
  • Encounter Threshold Total for Encounters 1 and 2 = 0.5
  • Threshold Total for Encounter 1 = 0.5
  • Threshold Total for Encounter 2 = 1

Filter 1

Use parameters to filter data on the report:
  • Encounter Billable Date: Include patients with or without encounters within a date range.
  • Encounter Status: Include or exclude encounters by status. Select Bad Debt, Billed (default), History, Rebill (default), Unbilled (default) and/or In Progress (default).
  • Pending Charges: Include or exclude pending charges from NextGen Enterprise EHR. Exclude is selected by default. To change the default choice, you should select either EHR Holding Tank Only or Include All.
  • Patients without Encs: Include or exclude patients enrolled in the threshold program having no encounters. Include All is selected by default. To change the default choice, you should select either Only or Exclude.

Filter 2

Use columns to filter data on the report. Column filter options include the following:
  • Between
  • Equals
  • Not Equals
  • Greater Than
  • Less Than
  • Like

Sorting

Use columns to sort and group data on the report. Column sorting options include the following:
  • Ascending
  • Descending
  • Group By
  • Page Break

Totals

Use columns to sub-total and total data on the report. Column total options include the following:
  • Sum
  • Average
  • Count
  • Totals
