Stopping a Recall Plan

There are a number of reasons why a patient’s recall should be stopped. For example, when a patient returns to the practice for an appointment that meets their recall plan criteria, the recall is considered successful and should be stopped. Or if a recall plan is entered for a patient in error, it should be stopped. Once a patient’s recall plan is stopped, it can no longer be modified and recall letters will no longer generate for the patient.

A patient’s recall plan can be stopped in two ways:
  • Automatically by the system
  • Manually by a user
