Statement Options Window Buttons

The following fields are available at the bottom of the Statement Options window. Fields Description Preview Shows the preview for each statement in the current batch on window. Print Prints statements in the current batch. Export Creates an ASCII export file for statements in the current batch to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing). Late Fee Shows this option prior to printing or exporting to add a late fee charge to the appropriate accounts in the current batch. Note: This option is not available when printing a demand account statements or a demand patient statement. Stmt Report Shows this option prior to printing or exporting to generate a Statement Run Report showing all accounts included in the current batch. Note: A Statement Run Report is automatically generated after a statement batch is printed or exported. Reset Resets the Next Statement Print Date to today (current system date) for all accounts that had statements generated on a specified d

Print or Export Batch Statements

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. The default settings on the Statement Options > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Do one of the following: To print the statements, select Print. To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export. When the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a confirmation message appears that the statements are printed or exported correctly. If all statements in the batch did not print or export correctly, select No. The parameters listed below are not updated and all guarantor accounts in the batch will requalify for the next statement run. Generating Batch Statements

Statements for all guarantor accounts that have met or exceeded the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements can be generated at the same time in a batch. To include a guarantor account in the batch, the account must meet all criteria and parameters selected on the Statement Options window. The default settings on the Statement Options window are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements. For more information on Statement Options, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the File Maintenance Preferences Guide for NextGen® Enterprise and refer to the Statements Practice Preferences section. Filter Batch Statements by Practice

To filter batch statements by practice, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. Select the Practice tab. Do one of the following: To include all practices in the batch, select the Include ALL records of this type check box. To select the practices to be included in the batch, select the Open Record button. The Practices window opens. Use the Add and Remove buttons to select practices from the Available section on the left to the Included section on the right. To save changes and close the window, select OK. To filter batch statements by enterprise, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. Select the Enterprise tab. Do one of the following: To include all enterprises in the batch, select the Include ALL records of this type check box. To select the enterprises to be included in the batch, select Open Record . The Enterprises window opens. Use Add and Remove buttons to select enterprises from the Available section on the left to the Included section on the right. Filter Batch Statements by Provider

To filter batch statements by provider, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. Select the Provider tab. The Include ALL records of this type check box is selected by default. To select the providers to be included in the batch, select the Open Record button. The Rendering Providers window opens. In the Search Method section in the middle of the window, select one of the following buttons: All Providers (default): Select to list all providers from the Providers master file. Rendering: Select to list only rendering providers for the selected practice(s). Practice Related: Select to list all providers with practice access for the selected practice(s). In the Options section, you can see the following fields are at the bottom of the window. Provider (default) Provider SubGrp 1 Provider SubGrp 2 Note: The actual names of the Provider SubGrp 1 and Provider SubGrp 2 buttons are defined in Enterprise Preference
