Print or Export Batch Statements
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select File > Print Forms > Statements.
The Statement Options window opens.
- The default settings on the Statement Options > General tab are from pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Statements.
- Review the default Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed.
- Do one of the following:
- To print the statements, select Print.
- To create an ASCII export file to be sent to a third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export.
- When the Update Last Statement Dates check box is selected, a confirmation message appears that the statements are printed or exported correctly.
- If all statements in the batch did not print or export correctly, select No.
The parameters listed below are not updated and all guarantor accounts in the batch will requalify for the next statement run.
- If all statements in the batch are printed or exported correctly, select Yes.
The following parameters are updated on the Account Profile > Properties tab for every guarantor account in the batch:
- Last Statement Print Date
- Next Statement Print Date
- Statement Counter
The accounts do not qualify for another statement until they again meet or exceed the Number of Days between Statements defined in Practice Preferences > Statements.
A Statements Printed or Statements Exported significant event is also recorded in the guarantor’s Account Profile, on the Notes tab, in the History folder, and in the History topic on the Patient Chart > Clinical History/Notes tab.Note: Significant events must be enabled from the Admin > Preferences > Significant Events menu. - A Statement Run Report displays all guarantor accounts that were in the batch. The Statement Run Report is a one time report. Therefore, if the report may be needed for future reference, do one of the following to save a copy:
- Print the report.
- Export the report to the Excel® file and save to a network location or folder.
- Save the report as a snapshot.
