Set Up Multiple Profiles and Outlet IDs for Payment Processing
To set up multiple outlet IDs for credit card processing use the following procedure. Up to fifty (50) outlet IDs can be added to a profile.
- In the Practice Preferences window, select Payment Processing.
The Payment Processing options display.
- In the Credit Card Processor field, select InstaMed.
- Select Outlet IDs.
The InstaMed Configuration window opens.
- Enter a new profile name in the New Profile Name field and then select Add.
Note: You can enter a desired and recognizable name for the practice.A message box appears stating that a new configuration has been added to the combo box and the new profile is added to the Profile list.
- Select OK.
- On the InstaMed Configuration window, complete the following fields:
- Description (required) - enter a description for the device, for example Front Desk - Ingenico. The description is the name of the outlet and displays in the Using Outlet field when processing a payment in Payment Entry.
- Swipe MID (required) - enter the swipe MID supplied by NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed.
- Non-Swipe MID (required) - enter the non-swipe MID supplied by NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed.
- Terminal ID (required) - enter the terminal ID supplied by NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed.
- Store ID (required) - enter the store ID supplied by NextGen® Pay powered by InstaMed.
- Device Profile (required) - enter the name of the device.
Note: . The device profile is always required even for enterprise or practice with a single profile. - To map additional outlet IDs to the profile, repeat Step 6.
Note: You can map up to 50 outlet IDs to one profile for payment processing.
- Select Save.
