Provider Productivity by RVU Report
The Provider Productivity by RVU ( Relative Value Unit) displays the provider's total RVUs per time period. The charge amount column on this new report should balance to the Daily Charges, Monthly Service Item Summary with Extended Amount and Transactions, and Monthly Transaction Summary reports.
To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Monthly and then select Provider Productivity by RVU.
From the Report Filter window, select the Info button to view the following information about the report:
Logic:
- This report allows for charges to report under the primary payer/financial class on the encounter.
- The report collects and displays data based on the column(s) and sorting type selected.
- It is the only summary report that allows showing charge info with RVU data.
Filtering Info:
- Pulls all the charges that meet the criteria selected on Filter 1.
- Does not include unapplied payments.
- This is a calculated report, which means you need to pull in both the RVU and the RVU Total columns for the calculation to generate.
- If no line item data is selected in the columns tab, the report will ‘roll up’ to the highest level. In other words, if you only select the Financial Class and Charge amount columns, all charges for each Financial Class will appear on a single line.

- Tracking provider RVUs for a specific time frame.
