Print Cost Estimation Forms
Before you begin
Ensure that your administrator has customized the cost estimation form template in File Maintenance.
There are many ways in which you can initiate the printing of the cost estimation form.
- Do one of the following to initiate the printing of a cost estimation form.
To print Action Cost estimation form from the current cost estimation (without electronic signature) - On the Estimate Patient Cost window, specify and submit the data for cost estimation.
- Select Print.

- Use the search criteria to find the desired encounter.
- Right-click the encounter, and select Print > Forms.

- Right-click the desired encounter number from the Encounters list, and select Print > Forms.

- Use the search criteria to find the appointment list of the desired person or patient.
- Right-click the appointment, and select Print > Forms.

- Right-click the desired appointment, and select Print > Forms.
Cost estimation form from estimation results (without electronic signature) - Open the chart of the patient, and select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
- From Topics, select Estimation Results.
- Right-click the desired estimate, and select Print.
Electronically-signed cost estimation form Your administrator must ensure the following:- The electronic signature feature has been in NextGen® Enterprise PM by adding a System Esignature data field and keeping the digital signature selected in the Forms Enhanced master file in File Maintenance.
- The electronic signature pad has been properly installed and configured to obtain electronic signatures.
- The electronic signature for the cost estimation form has been captured.
- Open the chart of the patient, and select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
- From Topics, select Forms > E-Signed Forms.
- Right-click the desired estimate, and select Print.
The Print Forms window opens. - Select the form that you want to print.
- Set the number of copies and the orientation.
- To view the form before printing, select Preview.
- Select Print.
