Modify a Patient Group

To modify a patient group in NextGen® Enterprise PM or NextGen® Enterprise EHR, do the following:

  1. Access Patient Groups.
    The Patient Group Search window opens.
  2. Search for a Patient Group.
  3. In the Matching Records section of the Patient Group Search window, select a group to be modified and then do one of the following:
    • Select Open.
    • Select Open Menu and select Open.
    • Right-click and select Open.
    The Patient Group window opens.

  4. On the General tab, modify general information for the group.
  5. Select the Members tab to do any of the following:
    • Add members to the group.
    • Access for a member in the group.
    • Remove members from the group.
    • Transfer members from the group to another group.
    • Add a member to an existing group appointment.
  6. Select the Appointments tab to view future group appointments scheduled for the group.
  7. To save changes and close the window, select OK.
