Activate the AutoWorker Task

The purpose of this task is to send a collection letter when the system date is after the card's expiration date and the card is expired. In File Maintenance > Master Files > Task Types on the Task Types List window select the open menu button and select New. The Task Types window opens. Select the Auto Creation tab. Complete the following required fields: Task Type - enter the task type as defined by your organization. Source Type - select Account. In the Activate column, select the Active Credit Card on file will expire in <0> days. Right-click and select Open. The Task Type Options window opens. To select the number of days in advance that you want to be notified when an active credit card expires, select the number in the Parameter 1 field, and then select OK. Select the Auto Worker tab. Create a Credit Card Expiration Task

The purpose of this task is to notify you when an active credit card is close to its expiration date. All credit cards expire on the last day of the month for the expiration date. For example, a credit card with an expiration date of 06/2016 expires on June 30, 2016. In File Maintenance > Master Files > Task Types, on the Task Types List window, select the open menu button and select New. Select the Auto Creation tab and complete the following fields: Task Type- enter the task type as defined by your organization. Source- select Account Default Assigned To for all selected actions - select the applicable users. In the Activate column, select Active credit card on file will expire in X days. Right-click and select Open. The Task Type Options window opens. In the Parameter 1 field, enter the number of days prior to the expiration date to activate the alert and then select OK. Set Up Significant Events for Credit Cards on File

The Significant Event Information window has the following options for tracking credit cards on file: Credit Card on File Disabled Credit Card on File Enabled When selected, this information displays on the Significant Event report. Select Admin > Preferences > Significant Event.. The Significant Event Information window opens. Select one or both of these significant events: Credit Card on File Disabled Credit Card on File Enabled Select OK. Setup Auto Worker Tasks for Credit Balance Write-Offs

You can setup a Task Type to automatically write-off credit balances that are less than zero at the account level. After the task is activated, accounts are automatically identified when a guarantor credit meets the defined parameters. This occurs when the third party balance is zero. Then the application automatically writes-off the credit balances. Access File Maintenance System Master Files > PM > Tasks Types. The Task Types List window appears. Select the Open Menu button and select New. The Task Types window appears. In the Task Type field, enter a free-text description for the task. This field is required. In the Source Type field, select Account or Encounter. This field is required. Complete the Task Value, Task Subgrouping 1, Task Subgrouping 2, and Note fields as needed for the task.
