Create Rentals for Patients

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup. .
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and select Find.
    Patient records that match the search criteria, appear in the Matching Records section.
  4. Select the patient, and then select Open.
    The Patient Chart window opens.
  5. Under Patient Information, select Rental Information, and then select the open menu
  6. Select New.
    The Rental Information window opens.

  7. To select the SIM code for the rental, in Rental Devices, select open folder Open Folder icon and select the SIM code you want to apply to the rental.
    The SIM code appears in the Rental Devices section.
  8. Enter the serial number of the rental device in Serial Number(s).
  9. Select the Rental Limit tracking frequency from the following:
  10. Enter the time frame, return date, and next billing date in the Rental Limit Tracking.
  11. Select the rendering physician for the patient in the Rendering.
  12. Enter additional information about the rental in Notes.
  13. Select OK.
