This is an encounter level report that you can use as a collection work list. For an encounter to appear on this report, you must go to the Collections tab of the Encounter Maintenance window, and then select the Follow-Up check box and enter a Follow-Up Date.
The special feature of this report is that if the follow-up date is changed, the report on screen displays the patient's encounter with a strike-through, or "crossed off", indicating the encounter has been worked. The report has "drill-down" functionality that enables you to double-click on a record to access the Encounter Maintenance window directly from the report.
This report can also be run to include Rendering Providers. For information on running this report based on Rendering Providers, refer to Other Reporting Filters in this section.
The report is sorted by location name, patient name, encounter date and encounter number. Totals are for encounter balance, with a subtotal for each patient within each location, subtotal for each location, and grand total of all locations.
To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Accounts Receivable, then select Collections, and then select Collections Follow-Up.
