Categories Tab - Sched Admin
On the Categories tab, you define groupings of events, or appointment types. You can use the categories while creating weekly and daily templates for resources. Each category is mapped to a specific time slot within a template, restricting the types of events that you can schedule appointments for the specified times.
You can define color for each category and it displays in the Appointment Book window when you schedule an appointment. The color provides users at-a-glance guidance as to where certain type of appointments can be scheduled.
Existing categories are listed on the Categories tab with the following information:
- Category: Name of the category.
- Color: Background color defined for the category.
The following options are available from the open menu button, or the right-click menu:
- New: To create a category.
- Open: To open an existing category.
- Delete: To delete an existing category.
- Print: To print a Category Listing report.
