Create an Archived Budget Statement

Print or export Batch Budget Statements. Select the Update Budget Dates check box, and then select Print or Export. A message appears stating that the statements are printed or exported correctly. Do one of the following: If the statements are printed or exported correctly, select Yes. An image of each budget statement is now archived in the guarantor’s Account Profile, on the Notes tab, in the Budget Statements folder. Reprint an Archived Budget Statement

You can reprint an archived budget statement, if needed. Reprinting an archived statement does not increment the account-level or encounter-level statement counters. Note: The option to reprint an archived budget statement is not available for statements that are archived prior to version 5.9. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select Account. The Account Lookup window opens. Enter Search Criteria to search the desired account. Select Find. All existing accounts that match the search criteria appear in the Account List section. Select Account List, and then double-click to open the account. The Account Profile window opens. Select the Notes tab. Select the Budget Statements folder. A number in parentheses (n) indicates the number of archived budget statements available in the folder for the account. Date/Time, Insurance Balance, Patient Balance, Print/Export/Electronic, and Creator fields appear on each statement. Select the budget statement, Right-click the statement, and then select Reprin

Print or Export Batch Budget Statements

To generate budget statements in NextGen® Enterprise PM, the Budget Communication method must be set to Budget Statements in Practice Preferences > Budget Accounts. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the File menu, select Print Forms, and then Budget Statements. The Budget Statement Generation window opens. The Budget Statement Options settings are the pre-defined settings in Practice Preferences > Budget Accounts. Review the default Budget Statement Options settings and make modifications, if needed. Do one of the following: To preview the budget statements prior to printing or exporting, select Preview. To print the budget statements, select Print. To create an ASCII export file and to send it to the third-party vendor for processing (printing and mailing), select Export. Select the Update Budget Dates check box. Archiving Statements

Statements can be archived when they are printed or exported so that an image of each statement is stored and available for viewing in the guarantor’s Account Profile. When a statement is archived, you can view or reprint the image but you cannot delete it. Note: Statements have a Reset Print Dates option that can be used in the event a batch of statements needs to be reprinted or exported. If a batch is reset and then reprinted/exported, the original archived statement image is still stored. The new image resulting from the reprint/export is also stored and available for viewing. To archive budget statements, do the following: Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. From the Admin menu, select Preferences, and then Enterprise. The Enterprise Preferences window opens.
