Budget Process Status Report

The Budget Process Status report automatically generates when budget letters are printed or exported in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The report generates when you select the Update Budget Dates check box on the Budget Letters window, and you select Yes on the Did the Letters Print/Export Correctly? prompt. The report shows information for each account in the budget letter run. NextGen EDI Uploading Practice Preferences

If you are enrolled in and utilizing the statements or letter services offered by NextGen Electronic Data Interchange NextGen EDI , you can automatically upload statement and letter export files to the NextGen EDI website in real-time when the files are generated in NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can also use the NextGen Background Business Processor (BBP) to automatically download files from NextGen EDI. To automatically upload and download files, your NextGen EDI login credentials must be entered on the NextGen EDI Uploading tab. To access this window, select Admin > Preferences > NextGen EDI Services. Login Information Field Description Account ID Enter the Account ID obtained from NextGen EDI. Username Enter the Username obtained from NextGen EDI. Practice ID Enter the Practice ID obtained from NextGen EDI. Password Enter the Password obtained from NextGen EDI. Real-time Address Validation

You can turn on real-time address validation in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, NextGen® Enterprise PM, and File Maintenance for practices and users. For real-time address validation to occur, you must setup both the practice and the user. The automatic address validation process occurs when a registered user enters or modifies an address and then saves the data. The address fields are automatically sent to the United States Postal Service (USPS) address validation API. When an address is incorrect or cannot be found, the USPS address validation API sends a message to the user and the user can update the address or keep the address entered. When a match is found, the user receives a message stating that the address is valid. The automatic address validation process can reduce the following tasks in your practice: Time and cost of returned mail Administrative tasks to resend correspondence Research and verification of the person, patient or entity's current address Before you begin this proces

Change of Address Update Job

You can create the job to download and export the address change by configuring the fields as described in the following table. Field Description Source Directory Indicates the directory from where you want the job to select the address update File. Update Address Records Indicates whether you want the job to update the address records based on the address update file. Address Change Report: Printer Name Indicates the printer through which you want the report to get printed. The automatic address validation process occurs when a registered user enters or modifies an address in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The following tasks must be completed for a registered user: You must assign NextGen® Enterprise PM access rights to the user in System Administrator. The user must complete and submit a United States Postal Service (USPS) registration form. USPS must send the user a confirmation email with a USPS user name and user ID and password. An administrator must enter the user's USPS password in System Administrator.
